W.C. Weil Company
Since 1978
Company History
In 1978 W.C. Weil Company was founded by William “Bill” Weil, whose passion was providing superior products to serve the water and wastewater equipment industry. In 2002, the company was sold to salesman Greg Madia, who has continued many of Bill’s business relationships through continued commitment to the municipal industry. Through his leadership, the company has grown dramatically, cultivating a team culture that instills a sincere desire to listen to your ever changing challenges and adjust our business model to support you with those challenges today and in the future.
On August 25, 2017 W.C. Weil was purchased by New Jersey-based PumpMan Holdings LLC. The company will continue to function under the well-established W.C. Weil Company brand and remain in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as an operating company of PumpMan Holdings.
Greg Madia, President of W.C. Weil, will remain with the company, initially as General Manager and then transitioning to President of the Sales Division. In his role, Mr. Madia will lead the Company’s sales efforts and work closely with customers to accelerate growth in the region.
PumpMan’s goal is to create a national pump system, service and repair company, and leverage the strengths of the W.C. Weil team, which has established itself as a premier pump service and repair company in the Pittsburgh market.
